Location: NTTA Corridor | Irving–Fort Worth Region
Partners: RPM xConstruction (Prime Contractor), North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA)
At Precision Road Services, we’re proud to play a key supporting role on a significant roadway expansion project along the Chisholm Trail corridor, working under the leadership of RPM xConstruction for the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA).

This multi-phase project aims to widen and enhance a major section of the NTTA-managed corridor, improving traffic flow and infrastructure reliability for thousands of commuters daily.
🛡️ Scope of Work: Utility Pad Protection
PRS’s current role includes the installation of Utility Pad Protection systems — a critical but often overlooked step in modern roadway construction.
So, what is Utility Pad Protection, and why does it matter?
This process involves the placement of specialized materials and protective barriers to safeguard existing or buried utility lines from the heavy vibration, compression, and activity that comes with large-scale construction.
Our work ensures that essential underground systems — including power, gas, water, and communication lines — remain intact, safe, and functional throughout the construction process.
🔍 Why This Work Is Vital
Utility protection is more than a precaution—it’s an investment in safety, efficiency, and risk reduction. Here's what it helps prevent:
Service disruptions or expensive utility strikes
Environmental damage like erosion or soil instability
Equipment failure due to unstable ground conditions
Public safety hazards such as gas leaks or electrical faults
Costly fines, delays, or legal liabilities
By stabilizing the work zone and protecting buried infrastructure, we’re helping RPM xConstruction and NTTA move forward with confidence—knowing that what's beneath the surface is just as protected as what’s being built above it.
🔗 Strong Partnerships, Stronger Results
We’re grateful to RPM xConstruction for bringing us into this important project. Their leadership, organization, and commitment to excellence continue to make them a preferred general contractor across Texas.
Working with NTTA, an agency that manages some of the most critical tollway infrastructure in the state, also aligns perfectly with our mission: to help deliver safe, durable, and efficient infrastructure that serves communities for years to come.
🔧 What’s Next?
This initial phase is only the beginning. As the Chisholm Trail project progresses, PRS will return to perform additional work in future phases — supporting continued progress with trusted experience and precision delivery.
Stay tuned for updates and photos from the field!
